What Will I Eat During the Modern F. X. Mayr Fasting Programme?
The traditional F. X. Mayr fasting programme has a long history – and we have consistently modernised it. Instead of wheat bread rolls and milk, we now use special chewing trainers made from buckwheat or flaxseed. Alternatively, we offer our porridge, which is considered one of the healthiest breakfast options from a scientific perspective.
The programme follows a clearly structured approach: 1–3 preparatory days to give the digestive system maximum rest and deplete glycogen stores, followed by fasting days with light vegetable broths and soups. The final reintroduction phase gradually increases calorie and fibre intake, ensuring a smooth transition back to a normal diet at home.
Ideal for you if: You would like to experience a traditional fasting programme, already have experience with the F. X. Mayr method, or wish to focus on intestinal issues, fatty liver or digestive disorders.
