What will you eat during the Longevity Program?
Longevity Nutrition
The Longevity Nutrition concept at MY MAYR MED Resort complements the two existing nutrition programs—F. X. Mayr Fasting and Vital Fasting—with a practical, science-based approach designed to support long-term health and wellbeing.
The goal is a nutritional concept that helps reduce inflammation, maintain stable blood sugar levels, preserve muscle mass, support gut health, and positively influence the ageing process.
Longevity Nutrition is not a conventional diet, but a structured nutritional approach based on high-quality ingredients, clear food selection, and defined preparation methods.
Core Principles
The Longevity Cuisine is based on the following principles:
- Individually tailored protein intake to support muscle preservation and metabolic health
- Plant-focused and balanced nutrition
- High nutrient density with moderate energy density
- Plenty of vegetables, herbs, legumes, and high-quality fats
- No added sugar, no refined white flour, and no highly processed foods
- Excellent digestibility and a clear plate structure
Breakfast
Protein- and fibre-rich bowls, yoghurt or plant-based alternatives with berries, nuts, and seeds, vegetable-based egg dishes, and oat porridge with berries provide sustained energy throughout the day rather than blood sugar spikes. Sweet pastries and traditional jam-based breakfasts are intentionally left off the menu.
Lunch
Lunch is designed to be enjoyable while following a clear structure: our Longevity plate concept combines Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with modern preventive medicine. Around half of the plate is dedicated to colourful vegetables or salad, one quarter to a high-quality protein source such as fish, legumes, or tofu, and the final quarter to complex carbohydrates such as quinoa, whole grains, or brown rice. Combined with healthy oils, this creates a meal that is satisfying, supports performance, and helps maintain balanced blood sugar levels—without the need for heavy dessert traditions.
Dinner
The evening focuses on slowing down and restoring balance: light, anti-inflammatory dishes that support digestion and sleep quality. Delicate vegetable dishes, soups, fish, or plant-based protein meals in moderate portions form the foundation of a nourishing dinner. Large amounts of carbohydrates, heavy meat dishes, and late sweet desserts are consciously avoided—allowing you to enjoy your meal while still feeling light and comfortable before bedtime.
